Start a Scan
One scan of your site. An accurate Revit model in days. No return visits, no guesswork, no surprises once work begins.
// WHY NEW OPTIC
// SERVICES
High-accuracy terrestrial laser scanning of occupied buildings, renovation sites, and complex spaces. We capture everything in a single visit — millions of measured points, nothing left to memory or tape measure.
LiDAR scanning details →The point cloud becomes an accurate, design-ready Revit model — fast. Hand your design team a trusted base instead of a best guess. Prefer raw data? Point-cloud-only delivery is always an option.
Scan-to-BIM details →Every scan includes an immersive 360° photographic walkthrough of the site. Your whole team revisits the building from their desk — no extra trips, no "wait, what was that floor finish again?"
Visualization that respects the model. Our in-house rendering workflow stays faithful to the captured geometry — so what clients see is what gets built.
FAA Part 107 certified for drone capture when a project calls for rooftops, facades, or site context from above. Ask us — if it fits the mission, we fly.
// POINT CLOUD → REVIT
Same geometry. Two states. This is the jump your project makes in days.
// PROCESS
One visit. We laser-scan the entire space — and capture the 360° photo walkthrough while we're at it. Occupied facility? We work around your operations.
Scans are aligned and verified into a single clean, survey-grade point cloud — backed by an engineering-grade registration report documenting the cloud's accuracy. This is the ground truth for everything that follows.
We build the Revit model directly on the point cloud — walls, structure, ceilings, the works — to the level of detail your project needs.
Your team gets a design-ready Revit file, the point cloud, and the 360° walkthrough. Open it and start designing — the site visit is already done.
// SPECIALIZATION
Hospitals and clinics don't pause for renovation. We scan active healthcare facilities with minimal disruption — in and out fast, quiet, and respectful of patient care environments. Design teams get exact existing conditions without parading surveyors through a working hospital, visit after visit.
// PLAY WITH A REAL CAPTURE
An interactive 3D scene reconstructed from one of our aerial captures. Click, drag, and fly through it — this is what "capturing reality" means.
// FIELD REPORTS
★★★★★"Worked with New Optic Studio to assess an 800+ multi-family tower in Revit prior to construction. NOS diligently organized the files — there were thousands of clashes detected — and had a clear meeting with the team to assess the findings. New Optic Studio is A++."
— J.D.
★★★★★"Amazing service! NOS goes above and beyond to provide the most effective technological solutions in the construction industry. I've used both his laser scanning services and BIM deliverables — both great products."
— Eude L. Di Natale
// COVERAGE
Home base is Jacksonville, Florida — founded in 2019, same local team ever since. Fast mobilization anywhere in Northeast Florida, and we regularly take projects in Gainesville, South Florida, and across Georgia.
Outside the circle? Ask anyway. For the right project, the scanner travels.
